The Australian Defence Force has released images of what life is like aboard HMAS Stuart, which is currently conducting the Royal Australian Navy’s 2-19 Maritime East Asia Deployment.

It is the RAN's second multiple task group activity in the region this year and comprises HMA Ships Arunta, Sirius, Leeuwin, Ararat, Gascoyne and Diamantina, as well as two submarines.
The nine vessels and over 1,000 personnel across two task group elements will visit partners in northern and southern Asia for multinational exercises and engagement activities in Guam, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines and Vietnam.
Over the next several months, the task group elements will participate in Exercises Nichi Gou Trident, Haedoli Wallaby, Annualex, Pacific Vangaurd, Bersama Lima, MASTEX, New Horizon, Multinational Mine Warfare and Hyuga Nada.
They will also take part in the Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force Fleet Review, a Mine Counter Measure Symposium, South Korean International Maritime Defence Industry Exposition as well as commemorations to mark the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Leyte Gulf and the Battle of Surigao.
