Navantia Australia is also heading to Australian shores after announcing they are seeking to engage with partners from Australian industry for the Future Frigate SEA 5000 program, which will introduce the next generation of naval surface combatants into service.

Navantia will be  holding a number of forums across the country to explain how primes, SMEs and others in the industry can get involved.

The industry days will begin in Perth on 23 February and continue around the country in Melbourne on 15 March, Adelaide on 20 March, Sydney on 24 March and Brisbane on 27 April.

Navantia is one of the companies currently involved in the Future Frigate competitive evaluation process, along with BAE Systems and Fincantieri.
