QinetiQ Australia unveils new Graduate Development Program

QinetiQ Australia has launched the company’s 2023 Graduate Development Program, an 18-month long program offering graduate engineers and consultants hands-on experience in leading defence projects.

QinetiQ Australia has launched the company’s 2023 Graduate Development Program, an 18-month long program offering graduate engineers and consultants hands-on experience in leading defence projects.

According to QinetiQ Australia, the program will provide opportunities for young professionals to work across all air, land and sea domains within leading defence projects.

The program is designed to allow participants to select between rotational and fixed streams, enabling graduates to take part in three six-month rotations over the duration of the program, or continue within their chosen field.

It is hoped that the program will enable young professionals to work in multiple areas, including those in fields adjacent to their areas of study.

“Our award-winning Graduate Development Program forms part of our commitment to investing in the next generation of sovereign capabilities in Australia’s Defence Industry,” Jessica Ciccozzi, general manager people & capability, said.

“Over the years, it has been incredibly rewarding and inspiring to see our graduates progress their careers to become leaders in the Defence industry, where they have been recognised for their work through industry awards, been able to work internationally and be involved in leading edge global programs.”

The program has received the tick of approval from participants.

“The QinetiQ graduate program has been a truly immersive experience and has enabled me to follow my curiosity and tailor my learning experience to match my evolving interests,” Chantel Rodighiero, a graduate engineer, said.

The program is scheduled to begin on the 13th of February 2023, with positions available in Canberra, Adelaide, Sydney and Melbourne.
