“SOIO is proud to offer a range of training courses and modules designed to provide users with structured education from overview to expert across the information operations environment, a media release from SOIO said.

“The courseware is designed to be modular, which can be tailored to meet the needs of individual students and organisations across the nation.”

The courses and workshops include theory and applications of cyber operations, EW, USW and EW operational support, leveraging the expertise of Leonardo and DEWC, and aims to provide a wide range of high-value, applied knowledge and training “whose scope is unique to the marketplace”.

The training can also be tailored for additional content to meet other relevant defence, cyber or electronics subjects to meet customer’s needs.

SOIO also confirmed that it plans to partner with Australian higher education providers to offer certified training that “mirrors” the Leonardo Academy flexible Master of Science, or Master of Science Intelligence Systems, programs accredited by the University of Lincoln for electromagnetic activities and Bristol University for cyber related qualifications.
