In accordance with DCNS’s offer to the Australian government’s Competitive Evaluation Process (CEP) and subsequent agreements reached with the Australian government in July of 2016, DCNS will consult with Defence and establish an operational Security Committee of the DCNS Australia board by the end of this year.

In accordance with DCNS’s offer to the Australian government’s Competitive Evaluation Process (CEP) and subsequent agreements reached with the Australian government in July of 2016, DCNS will consult with Defence and establish an operational Security Committee of the DCNS Australia board by the end of this year.

"This committee is part of the arrangements that deliver sovereignty to Australia in submarine matters and will govern the measures that DCNS develops to deliver the Australian government’s stringent security requirements for the Future Submarine Program," said Sean Costello, CEO, DCNS Australia.

DCNS has engaged executive search firm Spencer Stuart to identify two further suitably qualified and experienced Australian citizens to join the Board of DCNS Australia as Independent Directors.

These Independent Directors will together bring capabilities in industrial and strategic program development, information security and sovereignty.
