This involves the deployment of its NC Protect offering, which is expected to bolster access control and file level security of classified and sensitive information.

This is tipped to strengthen Defence’s control over the “releasability” of content in a multinational, joint exercise environment with allied nations.

The 12-month contract includes an option to extend the licence beyond September 2023.

NC Protect is already being deployed across Defence, available on the Defence Application Portfolio Management portal as an approved software product.

The offering leverages zero-trust policies to data-centric access controls across Microsoft 365, SharePoint on-premises and file share environments.

archTIS has also expanded its footprint in other sectors, recently winning a contract to help create a data-centric strategy for the Department of Health.

The award is valued up to $430,000 including GST and is calculated on a time and materials basis from 1 September 2022 to 30 June 2023.

As part of the contract, the company is expected to support the Department of Health and Aged Care with domain expertise to help achieve transformational technology change, including the adoption of new technologies, services and methods in modern architectures while maintaining effective technology governance procedures.
