Saab has welcomed Christian Hedelin as new Chief Strategy Officer

Saab has appointed a new chief strategy officer, who will take up the position on 1 November 2018 and be part of Saab’s group management.

Saab has appointed a new chief strategy officer, who will take up the position on 1 November 2018 and be part of Saab’s group management.

Christian Hedelin is currently head of strategy and business development in Ericsson’s networks business area. Hedelin graduated from Chalmers University of Technology with a master's of science in electrical engineering in 1994.

In 1998, Hedelin completed a master's of business administration at the School of Economics and Commercial Law at Gothenburg University. He has held a number of positions within the areas of strategy, business development and product marketing at Ericsson, in Sweden, Malaysia and China.

 

"With the recruitment of Christian Hedelin, we strengthen our strategic capability even more. We are currently in an interesting position where many countries are building up their defence capabilities and the demand for Saab’s products grow even stronger," said Buskhe.
