Percepto appoints Australia country manager

Percepto Drones has announced the appointment of Ron Hoffman as its Australia country manager, to help “extend the footprint of its market leading autonomous industrial drone solution”.

Percepto Drones has announced the appointment of Ron Hoffman as its Australia country manager, to help “extend the footprint of its market leading autonomous industrial drone solution”.

Percepto said that Hoffman will head up its team looking to grow market share in Australia, for the "most cost-effective, simple to use, artificial intelligence powered autonomous industrial drone solution" available in the country.

“We have a truly compelling proposition for industrial organisations in Australia. Not only is our autonomous drone solution the most cost effective, it is also considerably lighter, and with the use of artificial intelligence, it delivers far more than an eye in the sky, with its advance tracking and anomaly detection capabilities,” Percepto chief executive Dor Abuhasira said.

“What’s more, it is simpler to use than other systems on the market, as customers can plan and scheduled missions themselves.

“We are delighted that Ron has chosen to share his wealth of knowledge and experience working with technology innovators, to lead our in-country operations and grow our market share throughout Australia.”

Percepto officially launched in Australia last month, when it hosted on-site live mission demonstrations in Canberra for government, Defence and industry representatives, showing off its 'Sparrow' drones that provide real-time human/vehicle detection and tracking, thermal inspection, gas/oil leak detection, 2D mapping, 3D modelling, as well as fence and property patrols, without a pilot or on-site operator.

“With thriving mining, oil and gas, renewable energy, utilities and cargo industries, the market potential for Percepto as global leader in autonomous drone solutions is vast," Hoffman said.
