Over 30 South Australia-based defence companies are set to showcase their platforms at Land Forces.
South Australia’s ‘Defence State’ stand at the Land Forces exhibition is hosting companies and institutions to the defence sector for the first time since the PACIFIC 2019 International Maritime Exposition.
South Australian organisations featured at the expo include:

Defence SA chief executive Richard Price said Land Forces would provide the firms with an opportunity to demonstrate their capability to a national audience.
“While many industries have struggled to overcome the effects of the coronavirus pandemic on the economy, our defence sector has continued to grow and adapt,” he added.
“South Australia remains home to a booming defence sector, with a skilled workforce and agile supply chains supporting the ongoing delivery of some of the country’s biggest defence projects.”
Managing director of Mincham Aviation, Darryl Mincham, said the Defence State delegation is an example of effective cross-industry collaboration.
“The Defence State stand has always been the benchmark for national collaboration and is now widely accepted as industry best practice, providing a platform for collaborative behaviours and consistently producing positive outcomes,” Mincham said.
Mike Hartas, general manager of defence sales at REDARC Electronics, said the firm would leverage the expertise of peer organisations.
“The opportunity to be part of the Defence State stand at Land Forces 2021 is another great chance to be able to showcase our own capabilities to the broader defence community, while also building new partnerships with local suppliers that can become part of our regular supply chain going forward,” he added.
A ‘Defence State’ app has been set up to support South Australia’s industry presence at the expo and future major international trade shows.
